This is my “nature of business”, PayPal

PayPal has limited my account, again, for the fourth time running. I have given them all the details they wanted (i.e., bank statement, utility bill) and guess what? They emailed me again saying that they want me to explain my “nature of business”. I do not know what the hell they want me to do, be a drug pusher? I am tempted to give them a piece of my mind as follows.

I am tired of this nonsense by them, I am closing my account the moment the limitation is lifted.

    I think it’s a bank statement anyway – a piece of paper containing details of what has gone in and out of your account that month?

    I’ve had my account for 4 months now, and I have only ever had one bank statement, I was just wondering if this was normal because I thought it was a monthly thing. I’m with HSBC if it helps.

    I just applied for an online account through my bank so I can check my statements online. It won’t arrive till a week from now.

    Are there any alternatives to check my bank statement besides online and waiting for my monthly statement? Can I call or go to the bank and ask a teller?

    when you get your bank statement back for a debit card, does it say whether you bought something online or not? what does it say, exactly?

    I got a work as a leaflet distributor and the employer is asking for:
    * My National Insurance card
    * Passport and
    * An up to date bank statement

    I understand the other two, but why my bank statement?

    Is this probably a scam or something or is it normal to ask for a bank statement?

    I require the bank statement with my address on it tomorrow so can’t wait a week for Bank to send it to me. I have logged on to Natwest Online and viewed my statement but I see no option for printing. Anyone know how to print it out with my address? Thanks in advance.

    Well i wish to make a payment to someone using moneybookers. I entered the amount to deposit and they took a small sum up to 2.99 out of my account. I have to check my bank statement to see the amount and verify it with moneybookers. I have a visa card and im registered with barclays bank. How do i check my bank statements online. I heard it can take a few days to phone up my bank to ask them. I just need a safe online option.

    I sold an item on ebay and the buyer paid with paypal right away, but I don’t see anything on paypal about it. I’m new to ebay and paypal. Does it take awhile for it to show up on my paypal account? If not, what’s wrong? Thanks!

    What I mean by is, the same way in which if you pay for an item on ebay, the bank account that you’ve linked is auotmatically debited (if you don’t have funds in your paypal account). Is there a way to automatically transfer funds, recieved from ebay payments (via paypal) straight into my linked bank account?

    Or will I need to manually go in and transfer the money each time (which at the moment takes 7 days!!!).

    I’ve just bought something on ebay that I can’t afford to pay for until tomorrow (when I get paid.) What I want to know is whether paypal takes longer than say 6-7 hours to take the money from your account. As if it does I can pay for it now without going overdrawn. Does anyone know how long paypal takes to make payments?

    I recently started a Paypal account to pay someone around $2000 funded by my creditcard. I have just verified it today but it is still blocking my payment. Apparently I cannot use the creditcard at the time and I have to try again later. I have managed to transfer some money in a smaller amount over. Paypal is now saying ‘Authorization Failed’ for future transfers. Apparently this is because my account is new and they think it is suspicious.

    Are there any other ways from other Payment processors that can take my creditcard payment and then deposit the amount to the designated Paypal account?

    Creditcard has been confirmed by my Bank to be correct and working. My Paypal is enrolled in the ‘Expanded Use Program’ and is a Verified account. Paypal backed by Creditcard as Paypal do not provide Bank funding option for NZ’ers.

    Both paying and receiving ends of the payments have their accounts located in New Zealand.
    I have called Paypal and they said it was due to the spike as it was my first transfer and it was too big. For those who have gotten this error, will my creditcard ever work again? I was hoping to try in a few days.

    I’m planning to make some money online and I will use Paypal to get the money I earn. After saving some money, I’ll use it to buy something online..

    Is it okay?
    Are there any disadvantages?
    Is there a way I can get my money from Paypal without using a bank account?

    Thanks for your answers.

    Let’s say you’re selling things on ebay and all transactions go through paypal. So if someone buys one of my stuff and the money goes to paypal, how do I get that money?

    Also, I heard that paypal is good in terms of if you don’t recieve your item, you won’t be charged. How does that work? Do they put the money back into your credit card or something?
